I’m Mya Sharp, a local mortgage advisor serving North Alabama with over 15 years of experience in finance and lending, including more than a decade as a senior mortgage underwriter.

I take a friendly, straightforward approach to lending. My goal is to make the process feel clear, comfortable, and easy to navigate, whether you’re buying your first home or your next investment property. I stay accessible, communicate often, and make sure you always know what’s going on.

My underwriting background allows me to structure loans with intention from the start, helping avoid surprises and keeping things moving smoothly toward closing.

I also understand what matters to Realtors. You want a lender who is responsive, communicates clearly, and can get to the closing table on time. I take that seriously and work closely with all parties involved to keep transactions moving and expectations aligned.

I work with one of the largest retail mortgage companies in the country, which gives me access to a wide range of loan options. At the same time, I stay local, hands-on, and relationship-focused.
